Bruce Brubaker

Manager for Intramural and Club Sports | Campus Recreation

Bruce Brubaker currently serves as the Senior Program Coordinator for Intramural and Club Sports. Bruce Brubaker received his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Wheeling Jesuit University and moved on to receive his Masters in Athletic Administration from Slippery Rock University.

Bruce has worked in college intramurals for 38 years, 31 of which he has worked with West Virginia University’s Campus Recreation.

As the Senior Program Manager, Bruce oversees club sports and intramural programming.

Bruce’s favorite part of his job is working with and helping students.

During the summer, Bruce works for the West Virginia Black Bears. He was named the employee of the year in 2015.

Things you wouldn’t expect about Bruce:

  • He teaches the Basic Instruction Program during the summers at CPASS.

  • He collects sports autographs.

  • He is a huge fan of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.
