    Born and raised in WV; Matthew earned bachelor degrees in Business and Education from WVU, while spending his summers as an outdoor guide. After graduation Matthew set out to see the world; becoming a Tour Manager for Campus MovieFest, where he spent 3 years living on the road developing a background in campus marketing, photography and video production. After wrapping up a tour in London, England Matthew decided it was time to leave the road life behind, return home to West Virginia and pursue a career in experiential education. Matthew is now part of an amazing community, close to my friends and family and developing a career that utilizing his passion for active lifestyles, education and multi-media storytelling.

    Graduate Assistant - Marketing and Communications - Adventure WV and Campus Recreation

    Back for a second helping of Mountaineer adventures, Dan returned to WVU in August of 2016 to study Integrated Marketing Communications at the Reed College of Media after earning his bachelor’s degree there in Television Journalism in 2013. A self-described storyteller, Dan brings his skills as a broadcaster, producer, videographer and editor to the team while helping to direct and instruct budding professional communicators as part of our internship program.

  • Mackenzie Christiana

    WVUGo Media - Student Editor

    Born and raised outside of Harrisburg, PA, Mackenzie grew up in a family who valued going outdoors — although she wasn’t always excited about it. She decided to leave her home state and head to the wild and wonderful state of West Virginia for college. Before beginning her freshman year, she participated in Explore 9, an Adventure WV Orientation Trip specially design for students in the college of media. During this trip, she began to value spending time outdoors and encouraging other to spend time outdoors as well. She is now pursuing a degree is Strategic Communications and a minor in Interactive Design for Media and Communication Studies.

    Raised in Berkeley Springs, WV, Davey is earning his degree in advertising while minoring in interactive media and design. He is an extremely goal-oriented individual with many passions. Davey was raised to be an adventurer and wants to influence others to join him. He hopes to use his skills in cinematography to inspire people and communicate his life through a lens.

    WVUGo Media - Student Social Media Manager

    Tori grew up 45 minutes outside of Philadelphia in Allentown, PA. She is a senior marketing major with a minor in digital media and has a love for all forms of entertainment, including photography, social media, pop culture, movies, music, and sports. Tori played competitive soccer for 14 years, ran track for four years, and played field hockey for three years. In college, she spent a summer interning in Barcelona, and has since wanted to travel the world and add to her travel blog. Tori’s love for sports and entertainment media has brought her to the WVUGo media team, where she continues to learn about content creation while fulfilling her passion for creativity.

    Vincent is a native West Virginian originally from Martinsburg. While he is a new player in the media game, Vincent has always enjoyed storytelling and producing content that he can be proud of. Vincent found a distinct love for journalism in the spring of 2017 and hasn't stopped since. Everybody has a story and Vincent feels a duty to tell it the right way.
