What to expect:  The SRC offers both Zumba and Strong by Zumba.

Zumba: Zumba is an aerobic dance class that combines high energy music from all over the world with easy dance moves! Zumba is a calorie burning dance party that combines low-intensity and high-intensity moves for a total body workout. Zumba incorporates cardio, toning, balance and flexibility to help you get the most out of your work. While many instructors use the same songs, but each instructor has their own Zumba style!

Zumba Strong: STRONG by Zumba® combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training moves synced to original music that has been specifically designed to match every single move. Every squat, lunge and burpee is driven by the music, helping you make it to that last rep, and maybe even five more. In a one-hour class you will burn calories while toning arms, legs, abs and glutes.


Tips: 
  • All moves can be modified for different fitness and comfort levels.
  • Feel free to take personal breaks for water, classes usually do not have built in water breaks!

  • Keep moving! If you’re new to Zumba, start with just arm or foot movements. The more you Zumba, the easier it gets.

  • If you have a song suggestion, talk to the instructor before or after class.
