Jan. 11- Feb. 29 WISP Local’s Day Ski Shuttle. Every Wednesday at 3:30p we will take a van to WISP. There will be 8-12 spots available. Sign up early to reserve your spot. $7.5
Jan. 29 Cross Country Ski Seminar. Interested in learning how to Cross Country Ski? The Outdoor Recreation Center is offering a cross country ski seminar! Learn the basic fundamental techniques of cross-country skiing while touring a local cross country skiing destination. Cost: $25 * (includes ski rental)
Feb. 11 Coopers Rock Winter Festival The ORC will have xc skis and snowshoes to borrow as well as an introductory seminar on how to use the gear. Check out the festival and try out skiing on Coopers Rock trails. 11am to 3pm.
Feb. 26 Canaan Valley Downhill Ski Trip. Cost: $40. Includes transportation, lift ticket and rental (snowboard or skis) or $30 without rental.
April 14 – Whitewater Day Trip. Learn the basics of inflatable kayaking or rafting and experience one of these great local rivers. Cheat Narrows or the Dry Fork are class III rivers. Medium physical difficulty; beginner skill level Cost $45.
April 15 – Whitewater Day Trip. Learn the basics of inflatable kayaking or rafting and experience one of these great local rivers. Cheat Narrows or the Dry Fork are class III rivers. Medium physical difficulty; beginner skill level Cost $45.
April 22 – Whitewater Rafting Day Trip. Experience rafting the Class IV Cheat Canyon. This is a beautiful and exciting local whitewater gem. Medium physical difficulty; beginner skill level. Cost $60.
April 21-22 – Backpack Dolly Sods. This Wilderness area includes sweeping high mountain views, waterfalls and majestic forests. Medium physical difficulty. Beginner skill level. Cost $40.
