Guest Passes
The daily guest pass fee is $10. The host/sponsor (student/employee) must accompany the guest to the Student Recreation Center. Fees apply to operating hours for the entire day in which they are paid. Reentry during operating hours is allowed. The guest must present the daily guest pass, sufficient identification, and reenter with the same sponsor. Refunds will not be issued.
Daily passes are available to guests of students, members, and WVU employees interested in enrollment at the Student Recreation Center and their immediate family (spouse and dependents).
Each sponsor will be permitted two guests per visit. (There is no residency requirement for guests of students. Employees are only allowed to bring out-of-town guests.) The host/sponsor is responsible for orientating all guests to facility policies and will be held accountable for their actions.
Guests under five years of age are free. Those over five must pay a guest fee.
Guests under the age of 16 and the respective sponsor must remain in the same activity area at all times. Guests 16 and older must be able to provide proof of age upon request.
Guest may participate in informal activities but may not participate in ongoing recreation programs (i.e. intramurals, prepaid aerobic classes, outdoor adventure trips, and programs). Guests will not be allowed to check out equipment or reserve racquetball and squash courts.
Any guest found guilty of damaging property or violating any WVU Student Recreation Center policy will lose privileges immediately. The sponsor will be held accountable for damages.
