Fit Camp is a program for any WVU student, facility, or SRC member who has a substantial amount of weight and body fat to lose. The purpose of this program is to encourage healthy lifestyle choices while introducing participants to weight and cardiovascular training. Our goal is to provide you motivation and knowledge in the areas of exercise and nutrition in order for you to feel comfortable exercising at the SRC by yourself and feel competent in making healthy food choices by the end of the program. Registration runs May 6-20 and the program component from May 28- August 1.
In order to qualify for the program, participants must have a substantial amount of body fat and weight to lose. Participants who register for the program will be screened. Those who do not fit the criteria for the program will not be allowed to participate.
Fit Camp costs $75 for students and $100 for members to participate. Participants will receive:
- 1 Personal training a week
- 1 Group workout a week
- Nutrition Coaching: By Appointment
- 4 Group challenges though out program
- 3 Group educational sessions through out program
- 5 Individual behavior counseling sessions throughout program
