Rec Aquatic Club


Introducing a new program open to ALL who would like to participate!

Whether you are an experienced swimmer, a triathlete or fitness swimmer, the Rec Aquatic Club has a lane for you! The Rec Aquatic Club is a new program at the Student Rec Center designed to improve your swimming, learn and implement new techniques, and take your current workouts to the next level. We are a group of water enthusiasts looking to meet new people, have fun and get fit. We pride ourselves on our program offering something to everyone, including, but not limited to, triathletes looking to improve their swimming skills or swimmers looking to change their workouts and improve their techniques.

*Program will begin Tuesday, January 3rd and run through May 4th.


  • Monday 5:45 pm – 7:00 pm
  • Tuesday 5:45 pm – 7:00 pm,
  • Wednesday 6:15 am – 7:30 am
  • Thursday 5:45 pm – 7:00 pm.

Participants may choose how often they come to practice and which practices they attend. This program is designed to provide opportunities to participants with busy schedules. Each practice, coaches will lead a structured workout which incorporates drills and stroke techniques to improve time, form, and confidence.

Practice is open to all SRC members. Drop-ins are welcome; a guest pass is available for $10.00 at the front desk of the SRC. Participants must be able to swim 100 yards and have basic knowledge of swimming. Bring a cap, goggles and water to every practice! To get the most out of your workouts we recommend purchasing fins, pull buoy and paddles.
