Parking
Parking at the Student Recreation Center is limited to WVU employee and student usage. No overnight parking is allowed, and vehicles will be ticketed if left in the parking area. Handicapped parking is available.
There are two parking areas at the Student Recreation Center―the west lot and the east lot.
Parking is available for Rec Center users at no charge in the west lot. Patrons must stop at an automated ticket booth and take a two-hour pass, which must be displayed in the patron’s vehicle.
The east parking lot is a permit-only lot, designated as Area 2001. It is for employees and student workers of the Rec Center, those with permits from other WVU parking areas, visitors, and four ADA spaces. After 4:00 p.m. on weekdays and on weekends a permit is not required for the east lot.
In both Rec Center parking lots, all vehicles must be parked in a parking space. Cars parked on grass or on yellow line curb areas will be ticketed.
